In conjunction with the Universiti Teknologi Brunei, UTB Convocation Ceremony, a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah in Kiarong was held on 28th August afternoon.

The reading of Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development as Deputy Chairman of the UTB Council. 150 participants attended the ceremony. Also present was Datin Paduka Professor Doctor Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB. The UTB Convocation Ceremony will be held on 3rd September at the International Convention Centre, Berakas.
